Copyright Policy

Last Updated: 2026-03-07

1. Purpose

This page explains how airlinefoodreview.com deals with copyright‑protected material, what steps are taken when a legitimate complaint is received, and how users can let us know about possible infringements.

2. Who owns the content

  • Site‑owned material – design, code, logos, branding, and any text or images created by the site itself belong to airlinefoodreview.com (or its licensors).
  • User‑contributed material – reviews, photos, and comments remain the property of the person who posted them, subject to the licence described in the Terms & Conditions (Section 4.1).

3. Reporting a possible infringement

If you think something on the site infringes your copyright, please send a short, written notice that includes the following:

  1. What work is protected – a brief description or a link to where the original work can be seen.
  2. Where the disputed material appears – the exact URL(s) on this site.
  3. Good‑faith statement – “I have a good‑faith belief that this use is not authorized by the copyright holder.”
  4. Your contact details – name, mailing address, phone number, and e‑mail address.
  5. Statement under penalty of perjury – confirming the information is correct and that you are the copyright holder or are authorised to act on their behalf.
  6. Signature – a handwritten signature or typed name that serves as an electronic signature.

Send the notice to:

			Email: support@airlinefoodreview.com

4. What happens after we receive a notice

  • Removal – We will promptly take down or block access to the material that appears to infringe.
  • Inform the uploader – The user who posted the content will be told about the takedown and given a chance to respond with a counter‑notice.
  • Retention of evidence – A copy of the removed material will be kept for at least 30 days in case the issue proceeds further.

5. Counter‑notice (if you posted the material)

If you believe the removal was a mistake, you may submit a counter‑notice that includes:

  1. Your signature (physical or electronic).
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and where it originally appeared.
  3. A good‑faith statement that you are authorised to post the material.
  4. The same contact information you gave in the original notice.
  5. Agreement to the jurisdiction of the Federal Court of New South Wales, Australia, and acceptance of service of process there.

Send the counter‑notice to the same e‑mail address above. We will restore the material within 10–14 business days unless a court order requires otherwise.

6. Repeat‑infringer approach

We keep a simple repeat‑infringer policy to stay in line with the DMCA:

  • After three valid takedown notices within a 90‑day period, the associated account will be suspended or terminated.
  • The user will receive a brief notice (about a week) before the final action is taken.

7. Safe harbor and limits

Following the DMCA safe‑harbor rules helps protect the site when we act promptly on valid notices. This policy does not affect any other rights you may have under local law, nor does it waive any legal defences you could raise in court.

8. International visitors

Because the site can be accessed worldwide, we also respect the EU Copyright Directive and similar statutes. If you live outside Australia or the United States, you may still use the same notice format; we will handle it according to the steps above.

9. Contact

10. Updates to this policy

We may revise this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be posted clearly on the site, and the “Last Updated” date at the top of the page will reflect the revision. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
